The new Sport variant, which melts the comfort, space and luxury of the RX 450h in the same pot, has joined the Lexus's product range in the UK.
Just like in the sports versions of other Lexus models, the new RX Sport comes with a long list of equipment and a series of visual updates.
The first notable improvements include a front grille with horizontal black fingers with a chrome frame and a black fog lamp inserts. In addition to the black side mirror housings that match the twin-spoke 20-inch black alloy wheels, the rear diffuser is also black.
In parallel with the outer black pieces, the interior is dominated by black tones. Cabin features adds leather upholstery, driver and Passenger 8-way electrically adjustable front seats, heated and ventilated front seats, Lexus Premium Navigation and powered tailgate with non-touch sensor and Lexus Safety System+ (Adaptive Cruise Control/Pre Crash Safety, Lane Keep Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, Sway Warning System, Auto High Beam).

In the "Sport" package, which features the "Luxury" equipment level, includes 3-eye shaped LED headlights with auto high beam, LED daytime running lights, roof rails, LED brake lights, headlight cleaners, intelligent parking assist sensors, lane change flasher function and heated, auto-dimming, auto-folding outside mirrors with memory function.
Lexus RX 450h Sport's hybrid powertrain, has a 3.5-liter V6 with internal combustion gasoline and two electric motors and combined output reaches 308 horsepower. This hybrid system works according to different usage scenarios. With the "E-Four" system, all power is transmitted to all four wheels. Under favorable conditions, only one electric motor contributes to fuel efficiency by sending its power to the rear axle.
